Behind Products™ approaches fashion not as a self-contained discipline, but as a critical site where material culture, digital technologies, and human embodiment converge. Within this strand of our practice, we conduct systematic investigations that include garment fitting and flat development, three-dimensional explorations, and the design of accessories and footwear.

Our research begins with foundational fashion methodologies: pattern cutting, silhouette construction, and the study of textile behaviour and extends them through the integration of AI-enabled visual synthesis and simulation tools. Latent diffusion models are used to generate speculative variations of garments, evaluate their structural logic in flat form, and test their spatial articulation through digital fitting environments and volumetric simulations.

By bringing together human intuition and computational exploration, this research seeks to develop new formal vocabularies and alternative production strategies, contributing to a broader redefinition of what fashion practice may become in the age of AI.
