Lucien visual storyboard

Lucien is a fictional figure inhabiting a utopian realm reminiscent of those envisioned by Adolfo Natalini, a world that floats above the cities, detached from the density of the inhabited earth.

The narrative is grounded in the dialectic between the universal ideal and the particular real: the universal ideal as a conquest, the particular real as its necessary opposition. In his search for self, Lucien identifies with the forms and virtues of classical statues, recognizing in them a reflection of the eternal ideal. Guided by this revelation, he begins to paint himself entirely in white, from head to toe , a radical gesture of devotion to purity, beauty, and truth.

Initially mocked and ridiculed by others, Lucien endures as a symbol of defiance through grace. His solitary act, once perceived as folly, becomes a catalyst for transformation: as the story unfolds, the artist who dared to run toward his ideals changes the collective vision of his world.Through Lucien, the utopia itself evolves, the earth is transfigured into an elevated realm, a city in the sky, where the universal ideal transcends the particular real. What began as a personal act of becoming turns into a shared awakening.

The inhabitants, once skeptical, come to emulate him, recognizing that in the pursuit of the ideal lies the highest form of humanity. Lucien, in his luminous solitude, becomes the architect of a world that hovers above, a metaphysical landscape where form, spirit, and aspiration converge.
